Artist’s Night with Alice To — Visual Exhale

Join us for an intimate evening of art, conversation, and reflection with Calgary-based visual artist Alice To, featuring her exhibition Visual Exhale at Paradigm Spark.

Through vibrant oil paintings and emotionally driven compositions, Alice explores themes of anxiety, healing, vulnerability, and emotional release. This special in-person event offers a chance to hear directly from the artist about the stories, emotions, and inspirations behind her works in our cafe.

About the Exhibition — Visual Exhale

Alice: My work transforms inner emotions into colour, energy, and form.

Rooted in experiences of anxiety, overthinking, and emotional tension, my paintings translate personal thoughts and reflections on society into a visual language. Painting becomes a process of release—an act of reshaping what feels heavy into something more open and alive.

Through bold yet nuanced colour and composition, I explore the space between strength and vulnerability, between what is seen and what is felt.

These works invite viewers to pause and exhale—while gently drawing out a shared resonance, where emotions, ideas, and energy are transformed into something expressive and alive.
