    Producer Story:

Sebastián Ramírez, a fourth-generation coffee producer from Quindío, Colombia, carries more than 12 years of dedication to refining the art of coffee cultivation. Evolving from traditional methods, he has become a leading figure in Carbonic Maceration, Honey, Natural, and Co-Fermented processes—transforming his craft through innovative techniques that minimize water use while enhancing expression and clarity in every cup.

His farm, El Placer, sits at 1,750 masl in the heart of El Eje Cafetero (“Coffee Zone”), where sustainable practices guide daily work. Herbicides are avoided, weeds are manually managed, and soil health remains a central priority—nurturing vibrant plants that yield distinctive and layered flavour profiles. Equipped with a full microbiological laboratory, Sebastián and his team explore new frontiers in fermentation and processing, consistently pushing boundaries to create exceptional, expressive coffees.

His commitment to sustainability and careful stewardship of the land speaks to a deep respect for both nature and craft. We’re proud to present Sebastián’s coffees—each one a reflection of thoughtful innovation and the enduring beauty of balance between science and nature.
